DIY Laundry Detergent that ACTUALLY works!

If you're anything like me and struggle to find a laundry detergent that is completely clean and effective...

I decided to search for a solution and discovered a recipe that actually works! Previously, I was using pure lavender Dr. Bronner's, which I still love, but we were using it up too fast. Especially since I use it for everything, floors, glass, bathrooms, dishes, etc.

Here are the ingredients -

• 1/2 cup liquid castile soap

• 1/2 cup baking soda

• 1/2 cup washing soda

• 1/4 cup coarse salt

• 30 drops of essential oils

• water

• gallon sized container

Many of us already have these ingredients stored under the sink or in the laundry room! I was delighted to continue using my beloved Dr. Bronner's Castile soap, especially now that its lasting power has proven to be worthwhile!

Instructions -

1. Add baking soda, salt, and washing soda to a large glass bowl or jar. Add enough hot water to dissolve as best you can.

2. Transfer the mixture to a gallon container. Add castile soap and essential oils.

3. Top off with cold water, and mix well.

4. Use 1/4-1/3 cup per load, depending on the size.
