Life on The Bolton Homestead

I hope that this finds you well in the midst of the busy summer season. Ruby and I have been enjoying being home together, spending time in the garden growing countless medicinal herbs. Just a few are chamomile, lavender, lemon balm, bee balm, lemon thyme, lemon basil... I guess our theme this summer has been lemon! We added 2 new members to our small 2-acre homestead, Maverick and Honey. I've always dreamed of having geese but I never knew they would bring me THIS much joy. It's been so fun watching them grow exponentially, doubling in size weekly to be exact. Ruby has been studying herbs and is currently in a nature art camp where she is learning about different artists who created pieces based off of the influence of nature around them. I love her adventurous, creative, and artsy soul. She inspires me to continue to create.
